When your kids are done playing with the dough make sure you store it in an air-tight container.
Lemon Frosting Playdough
This extra easy recipe for homemade taste-safe play dough is perfect for toddlers.
Ingredients
- 1 tub Lemon frosting
- 1 cup cornstarch
- Colorful sprinkles
Instructions
Add 1 full tub of Lemon frosting to a big mixing bowl.
Combine with 1/2 cup of cornstarch and mix with a spatula, spoon or your
hand mixer. Then add the remaining ½ cup of cornstarch one spoonful at a time and mix well.
Finish kneading the dough by hand until completely mixed.
The play dough should be completely mixed and pliable but no longer
sticky.
Notes
If your edible play dough crumbles or gets too tough, soften with any type of oil. If the play dough gets sticky add a little cornstarch to soften. Discard after playtime is over. While this play dough is “edible” it is not meant to be eaten in large quantities!
