15 Eid Goodie Bag Ideas to Fill for Your Kids and Teens

Eid goodie bags are a must to have on hand for children visiting your home over the holiday. Ideally, I like to pick up little things here and there for a few months before Eid to be tucked into the kids goodie bags. This way I can find cute and new things every year. If you haven’t already started your goodie bags, I’ve gathered 15 of my favorite Eid goodie bag ideas for you to choose from.

If you are still searching for great Eid gift ideas that are a little bigger I’ve got ideas for those too.

Money!

It’s traditional and I’ve never met a kid who didn’t like it. Tucking bills or change into money envelopes (and these are cute!)  is nice on it’s own, and a good way to keep things clean if adding money to goodie bags.

Sweets and Treats

Along with a few mini-sized candies favorites, such as gummies and chocolates, I like to introduce children to some international flavors in their goody bags. A quick trip – buy in larger quantities than one-off – having extra is never a bad thing!

More Money – chocolate money, that is. Have you ever met a kid who didn’t love gold wrapped chocolate coins?

Pocky creamy-coated biscuit sticks are always fun to find in new flavors. A variety pack is great for kids to trade and try all the varieties.

Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Beans are a super fun treat (or trick) for kids. Each pack comes with 10 tasty flavors and 10 look-alike weird flavors. For instance, you don’t know if you are about to eat a peach jelly bean or a “stinky sock” jelly bean. Trust me, they’re great fun.

Candy Corn – Did you know this snack is halal? Love them or hate them – they’re perfect for Eid goodie bags.

Mini Fruit Bars are a yummy and healthy alternative to all the sweets kids will be accessing during Eid.

Instant Smores are sort of what Smashmallow snacks are. Kosher certified, the variety pack comes with Cinnamon Churro, Cookie Dough, and Toasted Vanilla, and is made with slightly healthier organic cane sugar, for another feel-better treat.

Prefilled Halal Candy Bags are convenient to order and gift on their own or to add to more elaborate goodie bags and baskets. This is ideal for those that don’t have the time or desire to pull together their own bags.

Toy, Games, and Learning Activity Gifts

There are going to be plenty of sweets available during Eid, so here are some non-edible, toy-like ideas to fill your Eid Goodie bags.

Mini Play Dohs are a classic goodie bag treat and I hope every child gets several for Eid. I just also hope that they wait to leave my home to open them.

Galaxy slime is even cooler, if you can handle it. Really these tubs are such small quantities, they aren’t too much of a problem.

Brain TeasersWhat’s this bent up wire??? It’s a classic brainteaser puzzle, and especially fun to get the adults playing with too.

More Brain Teasers – Here is a less menacing-looking variety, but still quite a challenge and great fun to figure out and pass around.

Beyond Toys

Favor Bags – because somehow once kids get their goodie bags open, the goodies never fit back inside. These cute drawstring bags will cure that issue.

DIY Crowns are great to keep the kids occupied for a bit, then once their crowns are done they are even more dressed up for Eid. This kit has several styles, appropriate for boys and girls.

“Retro” Slap Bracelets – remember these? Personally, I love the sound they make and will be slapping them on over and over every chance I get.

Bath Bombs with a squishy toy, too. Little kids love the fizz and emerging colors of bath bombs. These have the added surprise of little squishy toys at their center.

Face Masks. Seriously. Tweens and teens see these all over social media and YouTube, and just love them. Even teenage boys LOVE when I get them a mask to wear and we have a relaxing hour or two after a stressful school day. This set has 12 different masks, perfect for bigger kids’ goodie bags.
