See You @ Eat Write Retreat!

This weekend is Eat, Write, Retreat a food blogging conference that I have been dreaming about since late last year.  I remember first seeing the event mentioned and signing up for the updates.  Then I finally bit the bullet and registered.  Yay!  This is my first food blogging conference and I’d my lying if I told you I wasn’t a little bit nervous.  I mean sure I cook, and write, and take pictures but how do I stack up with the other great people who will be there?  I am just going to go with the flow and meet some of the other fantastic bloggers that are going and enjoy my time back in the city.  Oh that’s right Washington DC we meet again!!

I am hoping to make a lot of great new friendships and relationships on this trip, not to mention learn new skills that I can bring back and use here.  If you’re following me on Twitter (and you should be come on step on over and add me… I’ll be tweeting during the weekend and sharing with you all as I go, but not too much – I don’t want to be THAT student.  Oh and there are some pretty awesome sponsors for this conference – I am totally excited about all of these!!

I should note there are two other sponsors however they are a wine company and a beer company.  While I totally think it rocks that they are sponsoring a conference I’m not adding the pictures here.  I try to keep my site completely halal and even though they are only pictures it just isn’t jiving with me.  Plus I do know I won’t be imbibing and won’t be able to tell you about their products!

So which of these companies or which part of the conference are you most excited to hear about?  You can head over to the events page of Eat, Write Retreat to read more!
